Taxonomy
Oriostoma rotundimuratus was named by Tassell (1976). It is not extant. Its type locality is Cave Hill Quarries, Lilydale, which is in a Pragian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Lilydale Limestone Formation of Australia.
