Platyostoma subglobosa
Taxonomy
Platyostoma subglobosa was named by Stauffer (1909). It is not extant. Its type locality is Zone D. Eversole Run, 2 miles north of Delaware County south boundary, which is in an Eifelian carbonate limestone/chert in the Columbus Limestone Formation of Ohio.
