Taxonomy
Ribeiria runnegari was named by Pojeta et al. (1977). It is not extant. Its type locality is Locality 84. 311/5A-74. Foothills of northeast side of Dulcie Range, 8 kilometers northwest of Picton Spring, which is in a Payntonian marine sandstone in the Tomahawk Formation of Australia.
