Taxonomy
Ribeiria taylori was named by Pojeta and Runnegar (1976). It is not extant. Its type locality is 470b. Hall farm, one mile northeast of Whitehall, which is in a Sunwaptan shallow subtidal grainstone in the Whitehall Formation of New York.
