D. Schnitker and L. R. C. Tjalsma 1980 | Test free, spheroidal to compressed. Coiling nearly planispiral with a tendency to become trochospiral, chambers strongly overlapping. Two to 2 1/2 whorls, usually with four chambers in the last whorl. Aperture a half crescentic slit at the base of the last chamber, positioned asymmetrically between the periphery and umbilical area. Apertural face some-what slanted towards dorsal side. Wall calcareous, granular and finely perforate. |
