| L. Devaere et al. 2013 | The spiny conical shells are dorso-ventrally bilaterally symmetrical or curved toward either right or left side. The shells are ventrally curved and taper toward the apex. The subquadrate to subrectangular aperture is almost straight. The weakly concave ventral side can be limited by marginal ridges. The apex is bulbous. Growth lines lie transversally (emended after Kerber, 1988). |
