Taxonomy
Turbonitella trunculinoda was named by Linsley (1968). It is not extant. Its type locality is Brunner Quarry, Unit 14, 1¼ miles northwest of Amherstburg, which is in an Eifelian carbonate limestone in the Lucas Formation of Canada.
