Helix catillus

Taxonomy
Helix catillus was named by Martin (1793) [Lectotype lot designated by Knight (1941)]. Its type specimen is PG6-PG11, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Schizostoma catillus by Bronn (1834), de Koninck (1881); it was recombined as Straparollus catillus by Moore (1958); it was recombined as Straparollus (Euomphalus) catillus by Batten (1966), Gromczakiewicz-Łomnicka (1973); it was recombined as Euomphalus catillus by Sowerby (1813), Wagner (2023).
