Taxonomy
Helcionopsis ovulum was named by Perner (1903). It is not extant. Its type locality is Lochkov, which is in a Pridoli carbonate limestone in the Pozáry Formation of Czechia.
It was recombined as Sluzka ovulum by Horný (1963).
