Taxonomy
Polytropis persculpta was named by Perner (1907) [Barrande in Perner 1907]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dvorce, Praha - Podolí, which is in a Sheinwoodian carbonate limestone in the Liten Formation of Czechia.
It was recombined as Oriostoma persculpta by Wagner (2023).
