Beraunia bifrons
Taxonomy
Rhabdospira bifrons was named by Perner (1903) [Rhabdospira bifrons Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Kosov quarry locality (Dlouhá Hora), Kopanina Fm, which is in a Ludlow deep subtidal limestone in the Kopanina Formation of the Czech Republic. It is the type species of Rhabdospira.
It was recombined as Cyclotropis bifrons by Perner (1907), Perner (1911); it was recombined as Beraunia bifrons by Rohr and Blodgett (2008), Wagner (2023).
