Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
P. Y. Parkhaev and Y. Demidenko 2010"Shell cap-shaped, low conical, elongated. Apex displaced anteriorly, sometimes up to level of anterior apertural margin. Posterior field convex, anterior field slightly concave below aperture, straight in other part. Lateral fields straight or slightly concave. Aperture egg-shaped or pyriform, with wide posterior and narrow anterior parts. Posterior shell field bears prominent posterior mid-dorsal buttress, running from apex to posterior apertural margin. Anterior buttress faint or absent. External shell ornamentation presented by elongated scales aligned in comarginal rows. Internal mold also bears mid-dorsal buttresses."
L. Devaere et al. 2013Shell with slightly elongate aperture and height somewhat shorter than or equal to length of aperture; apex shifted to the proximal margin; shell profile of proximal side slightly concave; distal side convex with slight ridge along sagittal line. Surface of the shell corresponding to comarginal elongated scales (emended from Qian and Bengtson, 1989).
