Taxonomy
Spirina tubicina was named by Perner (1903) [Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jinovice near Prague, which is in a Rhuddanian marine horizon in the Litenschichten Formation of the Czech Republic.
It was recombined as Tubospirina tubicina by Frýda (1998) and Wagner (2023).
