It was reranked as Ischnochiton (Stenoplax) by Berry (1922) and Oldroyd (1925).

It was assigned to Ischnochiton by Berry (1922) and Oldroyd (1925); to Ischnochitonidae by Abbott (1974); and to Neoloricata by Sepkoski (2002).
