Taxonomy
Chlamys otukae was named by Masuda and Sawada (1961) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene; northeast Pacific.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Chlamys (Chlamys) otukae by Amano and Khudik (1996), Kafanov et al. (2001) and Kafanov and Ogasawara (2003).
