Battenizyga eotriassica
Taxonomy
Anoptychia eotriassica was named by Batten and Stokes (1986). It is not extant. Its type locality is AMNH3026, Windowblind Butte, San Rafael Swell, which is in a Smithian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal packstone in the Moenkopi Formation of Utah.
It was recombined as Battenizyga eotriassica by Nützel and Erwin (2002), Nützel and Schulbert (2005).
