Chinaspongia fani
Taxonomy
Chinaspongia fani was named by Belyaeva (2000). Its type specimen is Far East Geol Inst 15-MB thin sec 21(1) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tonglu, China, which is in a Capitanian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Lengwu Formation of China. It is the type species of Chinaspongia.
