W. Hantzschel 1975Subcylindrical burrows, 2 to 10 mm (max) in diameter; sinuous; parallel, oblique or nearly vertical to bedding; marked by transverse “scalariform” ridges situated at average distances of 2 to 3 mm, which may be only poorly preserved or lacking in argillaceous rocks.
