Macrorhineura skinneri
Taxonomy
Macrorhineura skinneri was named by Macdonald (1970). Its type specimen is LACM 9249, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sharps (SDSM V-541), which is in a Geringian terrestrial horizon in the Sharps Formation of South Dakota. It is the type species of Macrorhineura.
