Taxonomy
Pelicaria marwicki was named by Finlay (1931) [TYPE LOCALITY: 400-500 ft, Abattoirs bore, Adelaide, South Australia. Dry Creek Sands (Pliocene).]. Its type specimen is AIMTM613 and is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Tylospira marwicki by Darragh (1991).
