Taxonomy
Chlamys (Camptochlamys) wunschae was named by Marwick (1953) [TYPE LOCALITY: Wyndham, Southland (Ururoan: Pliensbachian-Toarcian). TYPE REPOSITORY: GNS, New Zealand].

It was recombined as Agerchlamys wunschae by Aberhan (1998), Damborenea (2002) and Scholz et al. (2008).
