It was assigned to Euomphaloidea by Knight et al. (1960); to Euomphalacea by Yochelson (1977); to Ophiletidae by Morris and Cleevely (1981), Rohr and Measures (2001); to Euomphalina by Sepkoski (2002); and to Euomphalidae by Linsley and Kier (1984), Rohr et al. (2003).
