Taxonomy
Droharhynchia rzhonsnitskayae was named by Baxter and Blodgett (1994). Its type specimen is USNM 475667, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USGS 10062-SD, McGrath A5 Quadrangle, which is in an Eifelian carbonate limestone in the Cheeneetnuk Formation of Alaska.
