Komiella gilberti
Taxonomy
Komiella gilberti was named by Johnson and Blodgett (1993). Its type specimen is USNM 466416, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USGS 10063-SD. 3 m. thick silicified bed 82 m. below top of formation., which is in an Eifelian carbonate dolomite in the Cheeneetnuk Formation of Alaska.
