Taxonomy
Streptotrochus was named by Perner (1907) [Sepkoski's age data: S Ludl]. It is not extant. Its type is Streptotrochus rugulosus.

It was assigned to Elasmonematidae by Knight et al. (1960); and to Euomphalina by Sepkoski (2002).
