Taxonomy

Scapharca guayubinica was named by Maury (1917) [TYPE LOCALITY: Rio Cana, Dominican Republic (Miocene-Pliocene). TYPE REPOSITORY: Presumably PRI, New York.].

It was recombined as Anadara (Rasia) guayubinica by Hendy et al. (2008).
