Pyknochiton lunatus
Taxonomy
Pyknochiton lunatus was named by Hoare (2000). Its type specimen is UM 2731, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is H.S. Lee Mine No. 8, Kinta Valley near Kampar, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the H.S. Lee Formation of Malaysia. It is the type species of Pyknochiton.
