Otocheilus mississippiensis
Taxonomy
Fulgoraria mississippiensis was named by Conrad (1848) [HISTORY: Type species of Otocheilus Conrad 1865 by subsequnet designation, Hoerle and Vokes 1978 [Vokes 1998].]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vicksburg, which is in a Rupelian marine marl in the Byram Marl Formation of Mississippi.
It was recombined as Otocheilus mississippiensis by Hoerle and Vokes (1978).
