Hungariella was named by Kutassy (1933) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Nori]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Neritopsinae by Knight et al. (1960); to Archaeogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Delphinulopsidae by Szabó (2011).
