Senowbaridaryana triassica
Taxonomy
Verticillites triassicus was named by Kovacs (1978). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Alshóhegy plateau, Western Carpathians, Hungary, which is in a Ladinian/Tuvalian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Wetterstein reef limestone Formation of Hungary. It is the type species of Senowbaridaryana.
It was recombined as Senowbaridaryana triassica by Engeser and Neumann (1986).
