Orthonema paxillus
Taxonomy
Orthonema paxillus was named by Erwin (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 400674, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM712d, Hueco Inn, Hueco Mountains, which is in an Artinskian shallow subtidal limestone in the Hueco Formation of Texas.
