Parametaria (Dominitaria) lopezana was named by Jung (1994) [TYPE LOCALITY: López section on Río Yaque del Norte; Baitoa Fm (late Early to early Middle Miocene).]. Its type specimen is NMB H 17414 and is not a trace fossil.
