Bieberiana pugnans
Taxonomy
Pleurorhynchus pugnans was named by Whidborne (1889). It is not extant. Its type specimen is SM.H4205. Its type locality is Lummaton Quarries, West of St. Mary Church, Lummaton Parrish, Torquay, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the Torquay Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Bieberiana.
It was recombined as Conocardium pugnans by Whidborne (1892); it was recombined as Bieberiana pugnans by Rogalla and Amler (2006), Wagner (2023).
