Grandfieldia callilepidota
Taxonomy
Grandfieldia callilepidota was named by Daly (1973). Its type specimen is FM UF 1059, a partial skeleton (partial skull with shoulder girdle and pectoral fins), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is southwest of Grandfield, which is in a Kungurian fluvial shale/sandstone in the Hennessey Formation of Oklahoma. It is the type species of Grandfieldia.
