Acleistorhinus pteroticus
Taxonomy
Acleistorhinus pteroticus was named by Daly (1969). Its type specimen is FM UR 1038, a skull (skull and jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is southwest of Grandfield, which is in a Kungurian fluvial shale/sandstone in the Hennessey Formation of Oklahoma. It is the type species of Acleistorhinus.
