Galverpeton ibericum
Taxonomy
Galverpeton ibericum was named by Estes and Sanchíz (1982). Its type specimen is IPS 5000, a set of vertebrae (partial trunk vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Colladico Blanco 2 (IPB), which is in a Barremian lagoonal marl/siliciclastic in the El Castellar Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Galverpeton.
