Fruitafossor windscheffeli
Taxonomy
Fruitafossor windscheffeli was named by Luo and Wible (2005). Its type specimen is LACM 150948, a partial skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Fruitafossor windscheffeli site, FPA, which is in a Kimmeridgian terrestrial mudstone in the Morrison Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Fruitafossor.
