It was assigned to Emarginulinae by Knight et al. (1960), Abbott (1974); to Emarginulidae by Wilson (1993); to Archaeogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Fissurellidae by Clark and Arnold (1923), Durham (1944), Harris and Palmer (1947), Ladd (1982), Farinati (1985), Squires and Goedert (1996), Todd (2001), Kiel et al. (2010).
It was assigned to Emarginulinae by Knight et al.
