Pyramicephalosaurus cherminicus
Taxonomy
Piramicephalosaurus cherminicus was named by Alifanov (1988). Its type specimen is PIN 3142/307, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khermin Tsav, northern slope [RMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian eolian sandstone/conglomerate in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Piramicephalosaurus.
It was recombined as Pyramicephalosaurus cherminicus by Gao and Norell (2000).
