Eoxanta lacertifrons
Taxonomy
Eoxanta lacertifrons was named by Borsuk-Bialynicka (1988). Its type specimen is ZPAL MgR-III/37, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khermeen Tsav I, Red Beds [PMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian eolian sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Eoxanta.
