Nukusurus insuetus
Taxonomy
Nukusurus insuetus was named by Nessov (1981). Its type specimen is ZIN PHA K 77-4, a mandible (incomplete dentary and fragmentary angular), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chelpyk, which is in a Cenomanian estuary/bay horizon in the Khodzhakul Formation of Uzbekistan. It is the type species of Nukusurus.
