Habayia halbardieri
Taxonomy
Habayia halbardieri was named by Godefroit (1999). Its type specimen is IRSNB R203, a tooth (right upper postcanine), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is HLV-3, Habay-la-Vieille III, which is in a Rhaetian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Grès de Mortinsart Formation of Belgium. It is the type species of Habayia.
