Diodora penderensis

Fissuridea penderensis was named by Kellum (1926) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Eocene; North Carolina.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USGS 779, 7794 - Lanes Ferry [Castle Hayne Limestone], which is in a Bartonian deep subtidal ramp wackestone/grainstone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina.
It was recombined as Diodora penderensis by Hendy et al. (2008).
