Rhamphidoceras saxatilis
Taxonomy
Rhamphidoceras saxatilis was named by Kennedy and Cobban (1990). Its type specimen is USNM 441165, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Stone Ranch, which is in a Turonian marine limestone in the Chispa Summit Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Rhamphidoceras.
