Lisboasaurus mitracostatus
Taxonomy
Lisboasaurus mitracostatus was named by Seiffert (1975). Its type specimen is Gui 34, a mandible (dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Guimarota, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal coal in the Alcobaça Formation of Portugal.
It was recombined as Lusitanisuchus mitracostatus by Schwarz and Fechner (2004).
