Taxonomy
Strophostylus (Anematina) minutissimus was named by Knight (1933). Its type specimen is YPM 13855, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is SL-1. Headwaters of Feefee Creek, north of Olive St. & west of Lindberg Blvd., 1.5 km northwest of Stratmann (Olivette), which is in a Moscovian offshore shale in the Appanoose Formation of Missouri.
