Taxonomy
Stomatosuchus inermis was named by Stromer (1925). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gebel el Dist (7p), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial sandstone in the Baharîje Formation of Egypt. It is the type species of Stomatosuchus.
