Pecten deformis
Taxonomy
Pecten deformis was named by Tate (1887) [DISTRIBUTION: Cenozoic; Southern Australia.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Genesee Valley, near Gifford's (Robinson's) ranch, which is in a Sevatian carbonate limestone in the Brock Shale Formation of California.
