It was recombined as Truncorotaloides (Acarinina) wilcoxensis by McGowran (1968); it was recombined as Truncorotaloides wilcoxensis by Steineck (1971); it was recombined as Globorotalia (Acarinina) wilcoxensis by Blow (1979); it was recombined as Morozovella wilcoxensis by Snyder and Waters (1985); it was recombined as Acarinina wilcoxensis by Berggren et al. (2006).
