Grandemarinus gherisensis

Taxonomy
Grandemarinus gherisensis was named by Cooper et al. (2023). Its type specimen is FSAC-ASF 109, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Asfla mines, Assemer N'Tadirhoust (FSAC collection), which is in a Turonian offshore shelf lime mudstone in the Akrabou Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Grandemarinus.
